Hi, I’m Zhaki. I’m a journalist with Singaporean broadsheet The Straits Times, where I started my career in the media in 2015, after having spent a number of years with regional news outlet CNA.

My focus has largely been on Singapore, where I was born and raised. After six years covering the transport sector, my focus is now on healthcare, with occasional forays into science, the environment and the tech sector.

A geriatric millennial, I graduated with a Bachelors in English literature and live in Singapore with my wife and two children.
